The Regional Teen Prevention Council is a community based student leadership group that is dedicated to encouraging positive choices among youth in our region.

Youth between the ages of 13-19 years old, living in the Greater Danbury area should apply online or contact Sandy at sandy.leverence@hvcasa.org or 203-743-7741.

HVCASA is proud to announce the formation of a RTPC in Litchfield County. Students are currently being recruited to join this fun and educational youth group. Youth from Wamago Regional High School, Housatonic Valley Regional High School, Litchfield High School and Shepaug High School are invited to join.

Monthly meetings will focus on encouraging participants to make good choices, remain substance free and have fun. Each meeting will feature an educational component, a fun recreational component and a snack. The educational component will consist of guest speakers or topics like health, college, careers and making good choices. Recreational activities will consist of games, sledding, arts, music and more. The prevention council will also work on projects to better our community and plan field trips to exciting places throughout the year.
